"The first sip of glory"

Now I love a challenge, a quest, a cypher or a riddle within a riddle. Not everyone thinks like me, often people will see something that on the surface seems impossible but peel of each layer and possibilities are exposed.

“The Secret” was hugely popular and subject to ridicule however in my opinion, it was on to something with their positive thinking. All you need to do is shift your mind into something more positive and the so-called chaos could be unravelled into something meaningful.

So when approaching these puzzles, keep an open mind and pay attention to the detail. Clues will likely be hidden in ‘plain sight’ but there are always red herrings to keep you on your toes.

The first challenge I have for you is just a taster. I don’t want to make things too difficult because that’s when things go awry. I still remember when my sister-in-law ignored our advice and drunkenly crashed our run-down Go-Kart at the bottom of a mountain and had to go to hospital after her wounds were infected. The doctor said it was lucky she’d had a tetanus shot. If only we had taken things step-by-step such a dramatic end could’ve been avoided.

When taking on this challenge, you are better off learning from our mistakes and working together. I will only denote whether an answer is correct or not. There are no penalties for spreading ideas or sharing information as there is only one winner. The first person to post the correct answer will sip the cup of glory.

Note: The answer to this riddle will always be a word or phrase. Happy hunting!

Sure I've had a couple of ideas ... sadly they were bad ideas. :(

If anyone can answer this, it may go some way to solving this problem?

The Roman alphabet does not include the letters "J", "U" and "W", so I thought it is unlikely that the letters form a Latin quote by some Roman dictator. I decided to employ lateral thinking. Looking at the way the letters are laid out, I googled "Caligula" and "champagne glass", but drew a blank. Perhaps another hint?
