Open world game? Rockstar? Winning combination right there. :D

I think rockstar is one of the best video game publishers. All their best games are open world, such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption so I'll probably end up getting this one. The plot sounds fantastic.

They took a really long time getting this one out, like 5 years or something! It does look intriguing though. :)

In a Q&A with Rockstar on another website, a question was asked if there'll be an online component to the game and since it's a detective game it was made for single player so there wont be an online section. I am happy with that actually, I am playing online on 3 or 4 games and don't particularly want to start more online trophies on another game.

40 trophies seems a bit small though, but I am sure with the 6,000 DLC patches that will come out for this game they'll add another 30 or 40 trophies. But I wont be downloading any patches to let that happen. :)

Only 6 weeks left, I cant wait.

"Complete a brawl without losing your hat...."

love the sound of that achievement :)

Expect a lot of familiar Aussie voices / faces in this game.... Erika Heynatz, John Noble (Fringe) are two of them apparently

Have been reading a lot about this. I probably will dish out $89 bucks for this, which is something I'd never thought I'd say about a Rockstar game. Can't wait to get to the interrogating/interviewing part and just accuse everything everyone says of being a lie. I'll be the worst detective ever. :D

Happy to hear that the audio cue for when you're near a clue can be turned off. Seems a bit easy to me, that. Not a real detective game unless you get a little stuck wandering around hopelessly for hours trying to find the next clue.

I genuinely can't wait for this. :)

Amazon.com buddy. ;) With the quickest shipping and the exchange rate being what it is i'm being shown an amount of $82AUD if I just order the game on it's own right now. Plus you get $10 off your next video game purchase from them if you pre-order the game, as opposed to buying it after it's release.

Just got this game earlier and I am absolutely loving it. Its a bit more slower paced than a lot of others games, especially Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV, but that's hardly a fault. You're a cop so you cant exactly kill civilians, in fact you cant even pull your gun out unless the situation needs you to.

I wasted a whole heap of time though because it took me 6 (long) cases to realize Phelps' partner can actually drive and it skips the journey.

Know exactly what you mean ;) If you want to pick up some of the random street fights... you have to be driving... otherwise, let your partner do the driving while you check your notes. :)

Every mouth & eye twitch a suspect makes... I keep thinking "LIAR!". Have had to learn to be more subtle

oh, and I've completely fallen in love with the soft jazz soundtrack while you're wandering through a crime scene 8-)
