This will be the biggest title of year..will smash GTA4 out of the water.

It's been a long time coming.
How many here will be getting it?

I would love to buy it but I am a bit apprehensive with how fragile PS3's are. My last PS3 suffered YLOD from overheating and with the 24 hour races on this game (probably 10 hours on B-Spec) that might end up being overkill.

I'd rather have my console in working order, so I don't know if I'll end up buying this one.

My PS3 is on most of the day. I use it to watch movies, tv shows..etc in the bedroom and to play games.
It also charges my iphone.
3 years old and never missed a beat.

Since been given this game for Christmast I haven't been able to put it down. The best car game ever IMO.

There is so much to do in this game and so many cars to own, from every era. You've got A-Spec and the equivalent in B-Spec events.

The last stage of the A-Spec events (Extreme series) are all the endurance races (24 hour races, etc) and since there are B-Spec events I'd be shocked if you actually had to race a 24 hour race.

I just had the funniest championship series in B-Spec. I entered the Amateur events and the "Clubman" series. Out of all the cars I was allowed to pick I picked my 703BHP Lamborghini to pit against a bunch of Nissan and Mitsubishi's. They didn't stand much of a chance after the first corner of each race.

I love how in this one the guideline changes colour in real time, It's didnt do that in GT3! And it was only on the driving tests from memory. :D Makes driving so much easier! Now I'm a pro at the Chamonix track, whizzing through the snow; in a bright yellow Suzuki Swift! (a Car i'm looking at getting when I have enough money, but in Black or Silver. ;))

I like the 'take pictures' feature too. :D

I've just bought a PS3 and I decided to get this game with it for a starter game. Though I haven't had the chance to look at it yet as it's taking forever to load onto the hard drive. Is this normal?

Oh yeah. It took me about 40 minutes. It's an 8GB file, which is taken directly from your PS3's hardrive so that explains the long installing time.

You'll love the game. :)

I got all the trophies for that feature. ooX I haven't played many snow events as I probably couldn't handle the snow.

Finished all the licenses but its a nice touch that you don't need them to advance in the game and I am 69% completed on A-Spec. :D
