Had a great time tonight playing against my partner! great game! So many cars and choices of track. I was doing really well in the cities, but I was terrible in the snow in Chamonix!

The other day I won this awesome Bugatti Veyron. My top speed was 410km/h and I got the trophy for doing over 400km/h. :<

I like the sense of humor of the people who put this game together, one of my opponents in a race was named "C.kok" and in another race I was up against "D.oh".

Just a heads-up for anyone wanting to win quick money - Do the "Seasonal Events".

Each race you start from last on a rolling start, with about a 20 second deficit but your car (you have to go with the car they say for each event) is much more powerful after you do it up and just watch the deficit shrink.

From Bonus Race No. 3 I won Rome Circuit and Trial Mountain and ended up pocketing 2,500,000 Credits and 210,000 Experience Points from those two races. I also won Nurburgring and placed 2nd in the other two races from that section, plus from 'Bonus Race No. 2' I won the first 3 events and I pocketed over 4 million credits and over 400,000 experience points. I went from level 19 to 24 just today from doing that.

Only downer is once you win an event you cant win the prize money again. But If you come 2nd you can do the race again, finish 1st and win the difference. So say you're on a 300,000 credit race, 2nd gives you 210,000 and then finishing 1st will give you 90,000 more.

Bonus Race No. 3 expires on the 20th and No. 2 on the 13th so get in quick.

The other day I won enough credits to buy the car I was aiming to buy - Mazda 787B. Wow.

Seriously the best car in the game, not necessarily the quickest - in fact the Mazda fully specked out still has less horsepower than Jay Leno's monstrosity tank car - but the best going around corners and it is too powerful for the competition. I won 4 championships against cars with 100+ horsepower more that I'd otherwise wouldn't win and I was winning races by 15-20 seconds.

I've unlocked the Endurance series (after you hit level 25 it will appear above Extreme series) and I am so not looking forward to doing those. In previous Gran Turismo games you could change an A-Spec race into 3x B-Spec and would finish a 24 hour endurance race in less than 10 hours without racing and now they expect us to actually race for 24 races? The lack of a save game function means that is not bloody likely to happen.

I haven't got anywhere near doing anything but go round the courses. My favourites are the cities.
