WooHoo.

Me just downloaded and install the Beta version of Microsoft Office 2010 as a Beta tester.

So far I am suitably impressed ... some new 'tools' and functions ... and the return of an old favourite which was removed in Office 2007.

If anyone wants a link let me know ... however, you will need a Windows Live account to continue with the download.

In Office 2007 they removed FILE from the menu and used a windows swirly ... so now you see FILE is back in its original position of prominence.

I only switched to 2007 a few weeks ago when ny youngest built me a new computer from his old one. Took me ages to work out how to save a document.

Dare I ask if you noticed the FLOPPY DISC symbol at the top left of the screen? ;-)

So, you wont want to beta test 2010 then

Nah, I never saw it until you pointed it out. Maybe Spec Savers have a point and it is time to go have an eyetest again.

I also had to phone my son in Adelaide to ask how to get the double spacing off the enter key. :?

I think I'll give that a big miss. To be fair I don't use Office much these days.
