Has anyone ever had anything sent to them on eBay from Hong Kong and how long does it usually take? I'm asking because I bought something from a Canadian based eBay and he messaged me when the packaged was dispatched on the 15th, but the package was officially dispatched from Hong Kong on the 18th and now its the 22nd and the information still says "The item (RT*********HK) left Hong Kong for its destination on 18-Mar-2010"

It was sent via registered post so I dont see why it should take this long to arrive in the country.

A week to two weeks. You won't get the package from Hong Kong to Melbourne in four days. Registered means you have to sign for it, not that it'll come quickly; that would be Express.

It's usually relatively quick. Maybe a week 2 weeks max.

Guess what? It just came. :dance: That was pretty quick, and i'm impatient so yeah, I think i jumped the gun.

The tracking site hasn't been updated and I knew that with registered you have to sign, but the posty (the one on the bike, not the van :lol: ) dropped it in the letter box. Hey, no skin off my nose. :D

You can't track the item once it leaves Hong Kong; it'll just tell you when it left the country.

I just sold my latest thing on eBay. The sale was made on the 1st and the buyer still hasn't paid. I'm willing to give the buyer the benefit of the doubt since it's been only 3 days but I hope he pays.

I've had people not go through with payments and I don't get why they do that. Normally you'd know if you want to buy something, but they just go through "Buy It Now" and then not the rest of the transaction. :roll: Hopefully this guy isn't one of them.
