Also, whats the deal with the existence of trains which run "with the windows down" on 40 degree days? (like last friday) *no air conditioning :shock:

Apparently some in the older generation call those 'the rattlers'

I thought the "rattlers" were the old non electric trains? Aren't all Sydney trains electric?

Trains in NSW are a joke. I looked into catching CountryLink from here to Sydney and they have a baggage restriction of 20kg and 70cm.
