Slipped on tiles with wet feet. I'd gone onto the back patio for 1 minute tops, not long after mum had done some watering. Don't think I noticed that my foot was wet till it was too late. Legs went in 2 directions, fell backward... right hand decided it would try to save me. ;)

Anyway, have been to doctor & got sent off for x-rays. It might be a possible scaphoid fracture [which is the most common wrist fracture]. I've read up on the treatment for that... hoping it's just a sprain. :?

Typing one handed is annoying, but at least my left hand seems to know its way around a keyboard.

I've got a good picture in my head with that description!
I'm always cautious on wet tiles, they can be quite dangerous.
Hope it fixes quickly.

That is so sad Cleo. He lived a long life and will be in your memory forever.

My older Dog passed away in October 2014, he lived to 14 years old and not a day goes by that I don't think of him. It was extremely hard on the family the first few months but now we talk about him and laugh at everything he got up to and his wonderful personality. There is no sadness anymore because he lived life happy. I hope there will come a time when you're saying the same thing. Remember the good times Cleo.

Thanks all.
Poor little guy - he was nearly blind, nearly deaf, wobbly on his pins sometimes and had a special diet but he was so happy. Always gambolled down to the paddock with me of a morning, but then immediately got lost and took off to the gate around the garage. Still acted like a puppy at times (Ok maybe it was dementia, but we preferred puppy ;) ). He even survived a tiger snake bite.
We think he had a stroke on Friday night because his left side wasn't working on Saturday morning. The thing that makes me tear up is remembering that he had that same "smile" on his face when he was on the vets table getting "that" injection. :(
