I got caught out this time! I totally forgot about it.

I got up, made a cup of tea started to watch the Today Sunday show in bed, and it all ended really fast. I hadn't noticed the time on the TV screen - somehow.

We got up, got ready to go out, and as my other half was fiddling about, I turned on my laptop to do a bit of writing while I was waiting for him, and after awhile I glanced at the time and I thought, wow, where did that hour go!

I then called out to my other half, how much longer was he going to be, when I noticed the time on the cooker - and thought what? THEN I remembered. My laptop had changed itself, my phone which I hadn't looked at had changed itself. I'd first looked at the time on the cooker when I made the tea and assumed it was 8.30. No wonder the Today show ended when it did. I thought it had been cut short! Twit!

Swift transition this time. Everything changed itself, apart for the cooker. Usually I'm hunting around for manuals to remember how to do it. Technology at its best! :D

Thank god it's over again. It's tougher dragging out of bed in the morning when it's 5deg AND dark. :)

It amuses me the tough time the tv stations have with their epgs ... last week there was some confusion on Sunday (clearly some programmer somewhere though daylight saving finished last week). And then last night I set the recorder to do Downton and Castle via the epg (which was correct at the time)... noticed it whirring away at 8:10. Sure enough, the Prime/7 EPG had had a meltdown and reverted to last week timing. Bizarre.

It seems like its been an eternity since QLD and NSW shared the same time zone, but thankfully we are now back in sync with each other
