Having just flown Qantas I'd have to say them...

Good food on the flight...

Got to see Just About Heaven on the trip back from Darwin (a good movie thats showing at the cinemas currently is always a good thing! :) ) - so pretty good movies showing...

Fairly comfortable seating considering I was in economy on a 737-800...

Overall not too bad... tho I havent flown with anyone else since the Australian Airlines days... so... meh... my opinion doesnt count for too much cos I don't really know what the others are like! :p

I have flown Jetstar once, they got me from point A to point B no complaints, choosing your own seating in interesting.

I normally fly Qantas as I find that the fares are comparable to Vrigin Blue. Actually Qantas are normally $1 or $2 more then Virgin but considering Qantas supply a snack, taking this into account makes them the more economical airline.

Qantas.
The only other one I've used is Virgin Blue, and even though they were okay... I just prefered Qantas for lots of small reasons.
The other airlines are not always cheaper either.

Virgin Blue - as a 6'1" guy I found Qantas's legroom woefully inadequate, and doing flights from Perth they're considerably cheaper than Qantas. (I was an Ansett person prior to its demise, for similar reasons)

Virgin Blue is the only one I've flown domestically, and I have to say I didn't think it was that great. Cramped I thought, though I am rather tall, and it was a four hour flight. If I was flying from east coast city to east coast city then I could probably hack it though for 4 hours (Sydney-Perth) it was a bit cramped for my liking :?
Modest to the top.

I like Qantas the best although I've only ever flown one other airline and that was Garuda and they were shocking! I think though if I like Qantas why not stick with it. I adore flying, it's so exciting, I know most people don't like it much at all, and a lot are afraid of it. But I love it. Unfortunately, I almost never get to fly anywhere! :(

Qantas and I will only be flying VirginBlue when Jetstar come to Perth. Maybe when Jetstar do have flights east-west the prices will be considerably different.

At the moment I need the added extras that Qantas provide such as baby bassinettes, meals & movies.

I used to only fly Ansett but only because they were cheaper. Service & leg were the same on both airlines.
