Dolores O'Riordan, lead singer of the Irish alternative band the Cranberries, died Monday in London. She was 46.

No cause of death was revealed. The Irish Times notes that the Cranberries were forced to cancel tour dates in 2017 due to O'Riordan's ill health; the band cited "medical reasons associated with a back problem." O'Riordan had previously been diagnosed as bi-polar.

Edit: Lead Singer of the Cranberries Dolores O'Riordan died of Fentanyl poisoning Monday, said a source in the London Police Department. Authorities found counterfeit fentanyl near the 46 years old rocker's bed. The source added that an official cause of death will probably have to wait for a toxicology report. He added that suicide and a deliberate overdose are suspected.

A Heartbreaking Update

It has been three months since the tragic death of legendary singer songwriter Tom Petty at just 66 years old. Up until now, it was reported that Tom died as a result of Cardiac Arrest. However, according to TMZ, Tom’s autopsy report states that he died from “mixed drug toxicity”, an accidental drug overdose.

These drugs were medications prescribed to him by his doctor and they included fentanyl patches, oxycodone, temazepam, alprazolam, citalopram, acetylfentanyl and despropionyl fentanyl. It’s being reported that Tom was in a great deal of pain as a result of a fractured hip. Tom also reportedly suffered from coronary artery atherosclerosis.

Crime-fighting police cat 'Constable' Snickers dies after being hit by car

A north Auckland police station's crime-fighting cat has died after being hit by a car.

'Constable' Snickers was a member of the Whangaparaoa police force, and had become a local celebrity due to his Instagram account 'Snickers the Police Cat'.

The 2-year-old tabby was born to Whangaparaoa police watchhouse officer Charlotte Jones' cat.

The station has a tradition of a station cat, and Snickers joined the force as a 3-month-old kitten in February 2016.

As well as patrolling the local area, he would help comfort vulnerable victims who visited the station.
