Human Headline, Derryn Hinch has refused to pay the fine that was imposed on him for breaching a suppression order has been arrested for failing to pay the fine by the due date and will be gaoled for 50 days.

Yet again Derryn Hinch seems to think that he is above the law. He says he is doing this on principle. Claptrap. He is doing this because he thinks he is above the law and when he breaks the law it does not count because he is him.

His fine was $100,000 and that means he will effectively pay $2,000 for each day he is in gaol. Yet the average person who is gaoled for failure to pay fine is 'billed' $100 per day. This shows there is one rule for the average person and another rule for celebrities or the rich. Derryn Hinch should be gaoled for 1,000 days just like the average person.

Basically ... I think it was a pack of crock that he was only gaoled for 50 days. He should have been gaoled for at least a year.
