This test has improved a lot since the last time I took it as I have not changed my veiws at all. At least the result was much more like I would anticipate it should be and actually reflects how I have tended to vote in the past. The first time I did it over a year ago it matched me to One Nation which was ridiculous.

Australian Democrats 70.2
Greens 67
Labor 63.7
Family First 55.6
Liberal 54.7
One Nation 46.5
National 41.9

I was centre-left on all scales other than traditional values which came up as centre. Very much as I would expect.

***Quote: [b:ecc75ae4c3] Explanation: * Left-wing positions are associated with a more managed economy, multiculturalism, Aboriginal reconciliation, a strong focus on rights and state interventions to achieve just outcomes, and bigger government (higher taxing/higher spending). A negative score above equates to a ‘left-wing’ perspective.
* Right-wing positions are associated with ‘free-market’ economics, conservative moral values, a strong focus on individual freedom and choice, a balancing of rights and responsibilities, and a focus on fair procedures (equal opportunity). A positive score above equates to a ‘right-wing’ perspective. [/b:ecc75ae4c3] ***End Quote.

I am happy to go along with that. I am all for 'free-market' and each person taking responsibilities for themselves. So I am happily a center-rightie!!!!

Just did this test. Quite impressed by it.

Greens 82.9%
Dem 80.2%
Labor 79.4%
Family First 53.7%
Liberal 33.9%
Nats 31.8%
One Nation 29.7%

Basically I fall into a left position except for 'traditional values' where I am centre left.
