Absolutely right! The coverage has been great and some good games so far. I've been watching all the games on Friday night and can't wait for the one this Friday. Western Sydney Wanderers v Adelaide United.

We'll be watching again. Makes a nice change. The crowds are definitely there! Make it prime time, and people will be watching. I avoid all forms of rugby like the plague.

Current and former footballers in every code have one thing in common in this country. A lot of "umms and mates" in their sentences.

the upcoming A-League season (Friday night games) will be now airing on SBS1, instead of SBS2. I think that this is a good move.

If SBS 1 and 2 are available to all now then what difference does it make? Do SBS 1 people only watch that channel and prefer not to switch? All I know is that the only shows that rate on SBS Fri nights are the Euro porn (or so i am told)

some good news - SBS will be airing two additional A-League matches this month. They will be for the next two Saturdays (Nov 8 and Nov 15). This is in addition to the Friday night games.

It looks like it will be a once-off (well, a two-off. lol) for this season. They will be sharing the duties with Foxtel by the looks of it. I hope that this is a thing of the future, with SBS hopefully hosting more games.
