Tonights game was an absolute cracker. Who would have predicted that result. I thought NZ would win by 15 or more but to only win by 1pt is amazing considering. I guess home game nerves got in the way since they easily accounted for France earlier in the tournament. The best thing was it wasn't a blow out which like i said i was expecting. Well done NZ its about time :P

To another matter. I wasn't at home tonight when i was watching this so no FoxSports and was watching Nine instead and guess what, they cut off the presentation altogether to show none other than you guessed it, Underbelly. My friend is a mad kiwi and she is yet to get a set top box and she was furious that we couldn't watch the presentation. It was a low act by Nine but i guess what was i expecting. This was the GRAND FINAL of the World Cup and instead they went to Underbelly. I bet if Australia had been in the match it would have been different. I think Nine and Sport need to be severed because its just wrong. It would be like cutting the presentation of the NRL Grand Final....Oh wait they did that too in some States. Its just wrong. Sorry but it is. I know you know i don't like Nine but to not show the presentation of the biggest match of the tournament is just wrong. I am guessing GEM showed it but you see my point here? It happens over and over and over again. Sorry for the rant. I'll be quiet now ;)

So much for 'attacking' rugby

The All Blacks kept France in it with the missed penalties and conversions

Now South Africa, Australia and New Zealand have all won the world cup twice, with the other winner being England

So much for "variety" and having a chance to win it

The 2015 Rugby World Cup is nearly over. Not going to bother making a new thread about this tournament, because of the lack of interest in here.

To be honest, I haven't really been paying much attention to this World Cup. The timezone is a big factor. And simply, I'm not a big fan of the sport itself.

However, I just finished watching the Quarter Finals game between Argentina and Ireland. Geez, it was a good game. Thanks to the many tries scored between the two teams. Argentina beat Ireland 43-20. Argentina led early in the game, then Ireland caught up and was fairly close for most the match. Argentina scored 2 late tries to win the game (in the last 5 or so minutes).

The game started at 11pm (coverage began at 10.30pm) on Gem. I think the most friendliest timeslot of the tournament. Australia is playing next against Scotland, in an hours time. Sadly, it on too late for me to watch. Am off to bed soon.

Quarters: South Africa beat Wales 23-19; New Zealand beat France 62-13; Argentina beat Ireland 43-20; Australia v Scotland TBA
Semis: South Africa v New Zealand; Argentina V Australia or Scotland

Australia 35 Scotland 34

Penalty in the last 2 minutes sealed the deal (I didn't watch the game, just got the result off the news this morning  )
The power of submission lies not in the ability to kneel before another, to give over one's body or in the wearing of a collar.
The power of submission can be found only in the heart of one who gives her love to another freely knowing what joy and pain will come of it - Roguer

wow, that was a close game for the Wallabies.

I saw the highlights this morning. They were lucky to get that penalty at the end of the match.
