Will be difficult for the Wallabies to progress much further from here. We play South Africa in the quarter finals; and if by some miracle we win that, we then run into the All Blacks in the semi-finals.

You have to beat the best to win it all

So if they win those two games - it will prove that they are the best

Could have done with a try

At least its better than soccer where there is scoring with penalties and field goals

Sick of all the kicking back and forth. Come on guys rugby is meant to be a running game not a kicking game!
They also seem to be taking a few leaves out of rugby league's book and getting the ball out of the ruck and just trying to charge through instead of passing out a bit wider so they can run the ball!

You can't win unless you have the ball and kicking it away is just a waste of possession [/end rant]
The power of submission lies not in the ability to kneel before another, to give over one's body or in the wearing of a collar.

There is one thing to gripe about Rugby Union (15 a side)

No Tries!

It makes the game almost as unbearable to watch as Soccer, especially when it comes to the business end of the tournament

^^
I have complained about this before. It doesn't seem fair that a team which has scored a try can be beaten by another that has only kicked penalty goals. Plus I hate the kicking away of possession - you can't win a game if you don't have the ball!

It might be time to make the reward for conversions and penalties just one point and put the points for a try up from 5 to 7 :D
