I think the question this year is... Can NRL survive with all the controversies that continually plague it! On a Ninemsn poll 22,000 people said they wouldn't support the game after the Bulldogs "fiasco"... compared with only 10,000 (when I voted) that didnt care. Sure, many of those 22,000 probably weren't NRL supporters anyway... but who knows really???

But onto your Q... No idea... no idea at all! :) There are a few teams that show promise year after year... guess we'll have to wait and see how the teams perform in the first few weeks of the comp!

Yeah i know. But I am a Bulldogs supporter and always have been
All this stuff about a Gang Rapeing has not changed my opinion about NRL its a game and thats what i watch it for the Game.

I hope a smaller Team gets to win this year some one like Canberra or Rabbitos or some one like that

Well it was a good, close game tonight... something that the NRL season needed to start them off. Penrith and Newcastle played some excellent football, but in the end there can be only 1 winner, with the Knights topping last years premiers in the opening game. Should be interesting to see how the rest of the games go this week, and how many people turn up (good attendance for the first game with 20,000 odd showing up).

Sloansect31 i disagree i though the 2 games air on channel 9 this weekend where shocking
The ball was being knocked on left right and centre. Its was being dropped heaps of catches missed and a plethora of unforced errors.

But all the teams that played look really strong so once the season gets in to it. This year’s premier ship will be a hard one to win[/color:48998a917f]

Well... ok Vampyre... I did notice the knocking on and stuff... but being the first game of the season, I guess I'm sorta easy on 'em... I just appreciate a game that plays out and seems to be "fairly even"... guess I like my sports like I like my Reality TV stuff... fair... <ROFLMAO>
