The 2014 Four Nations group stages are half way through. They began last weekend.

NZ beat Australia, and also beat Samoa yesterday in a very good and close game. Australia will play NZ in an hours time.

Next week, Australia will play Samoa at WIN Stadium, Wollongong

The crowds have been quite good in the satellite venues for the matches (not the SFS, ANZ), with Wollongong and Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin having only small empty pockets in the stadiums

I decided to go down to WIN Stadium at Wollongong today to watch the Australia V Samoa game. The Kangaroos smashed Samoa 44-18. I thought it was a good game

It was a great crowd today. The crowd today was just shy of 18,500 (which was only just 1,000 people off the ground record). The hill was jammed packed, and there were only tiny amount of empty pockets in the three granstands. There was a big Samoan turnout there too, and the atmosphere was pretty good.

Final next Saturday, Australia v NZ.
C'mon KIWIS! :D

Shouldnt the crowd be higher by default because of the fact "International representation" is a higher form of representation? compared to merely club or state of origin... :?

Although......... we all know it doesnt work like that/ is as simple as that! :X

My brother-in-law had the honour of meeting the entire Australian team at the training sessions and then was sat in the second row just behind the bench on the half way line for the Australia/Samoa game.

Not something he will ever forget.

Wow. Lucky guy. That's something I will never forget if it was me.

To see the Australian team train (which is usually closed to the public) and then to sit just behind the bench on the half way line is really awesome

I'm jealous now! lol
