It actually didn't happen that way. The media were too busy talking about Kyrigios's outbursts rather than whether he could win.

With the exception of Mark Beretta on Channel 7 who gave him the beat up until he was shutdown by David Koch. Kochie actually said something along the lines of 'lets not put too much pressure on him'
