am happy to see Djokovic win his 5th Australian Open. He was a deserving winner. Sadly though, this was Andy Murray's 4th Australian Open Final loss.

The first two sets were tight. The fourth set was a quick set.

Well, the "summer of tennis" is now over for another year. Only 11 months to go until it all begins again. lol

One thing to take away from this tournament is the courtside antics of Andy Murray's support crew, in particular his foul mouthed Girlfriend, she decided to take the piss for the final by wearing a t-shirt saying 'explicit content'

And just because shes hot, she gets away with it

But personally she should wear the tagline, 'so many boys, so few can afford me' instead

Either way... such a bi*** ;:

thought id bump up this topic, as the 2016 Australian Open is now underway, with Day One on today.

Serena Williams is through to the Second Round (not much surprises there), and Nick Kyrgios is currently winning his opening match.

Tomic's first round match had play suspended for nearly 15 minutes due to a diabetic attack by a fan sitting in the stands

EDIT - Hewitt (with a low ranking) playing on centre court against an opponent with a low ranking. Match was scheduled for Channel 7 fanboys

Serena Williams to play Angelique Kerber in the Women's Final tomorrow night.
Novak Djokovic to play either Andy Murray or Milos Raonic in the Men's Final on Sunday night.

not much talk in the sports section in the last few years..... but thought id bump this up.

We are half way through the 2017 Australian Open. The two number ones are out - being Andy Murray and Angelique Kerber Novak Djokovic is also out. Surprised there!

Daria Gavrilova is the only Aussie left in week two of the tournament
